Now you can go back to the login page and log in to your site. If you can successfully do it, then you know a plugin was causing the error.
However, if a plugin wasn’t causing the issue, then check the theme files. You need to select the theme folder and start renaming all the themes.
Now go back, refresh the site and see if you can log in. If you are still facing the same redirecting error, then move on to the next solution.
- Make Changes In .htaccess File
Conceding that the above two solutions didn’t work, you can log in to your web server again and look for a file named .htaccess inside the wp-content folder.
Sometimes, a corrupted .htaccess file can also create issues. So, once you’re there, delete the file and refresh your website.

In that case, you can simply go to your dashboard, select ‘Settings’ and go to ‘Permalinks.’
Once you are there, click on ‘Save Changes’ so that a fresh .htaccess the file can be created.
- Contact Web Hosting Provider
